The Claddagh is a symbol of friendship, love, and marriage that dates back to at least the 17th Century AD. Originating in the small Irish fishing village of Claddagh, the design has spread around the world.  When the ring is worn on the right ring finger with the heart pointing to the fingertip, the wearer is free of any attachment.  On the same finger, but with the heart pointing towards the wrist, it suggests someone is romantically involved.  When the ring is on the left hand wedding ring finger, it means the person is married or engaged.

Our Claddagh jewelry includes necklaces and rings.
